Halloween 2020

Halloween has come and gone! Though it was unlike any Halloween in the past, I wasn’t going to let it spoil my Halloween spirit… So I kept with a few Halloween traditions to make sure that the entire holiday wasn’t lost this year. The biggest and most important of those being my Halloween costumes! Everyone knows that I love to dress up and just because I had nowhere to go, doesn't mean that dressing up would be any different this year.

Costume 1: Chucky!

Growing up, I was always equal parts obsessed with and terrified of Chucky. The way he could commit such major acts of violence while charming the audience with his dark humor was a major feat. Something many others still fail at and made him unique among other slashers. It was so fun paying homage to one of horror’s most iconic and surprising slashers. Photographed outside the same apartment building from which the first ‘Child’s Play’ was set and filmed. (Oh and if you’re interested in purchasing these overalls they’re available here in my shop)

Costume 2: Haunted House!

Following the theme of executing costumes I never got to as a child, I went with the classic haunted house!!! I love wearing non traditional garments so I thought this was the perfect chance to do something really surprising and fun. I had a great time putting together both of these costumes and hope that you got a little inspiration from my Halloween hobbies. On to Christmas!
